cold vs. snow

I hate being cold. I can take triple digit heat but I'm cold when it gets down to 65-70 degrees. Yet, I love when it snows. I love watching the snow fall, watching it collecting on the ground and plants, playing/sledding...everything about snow. I've been like this for years and I am still confused. How can I hate being cold but love playing in frozen water?
